As per the news released by Warner Bros, Mickey 17 has been scheduled to be released on January 31, 2025 – letting out more than a whisper of how odd that date is for a Parasite sequel and a follow up from one of the world’s hottest directors at present – Bong Joon-ho who owns an Oscar and a Cannes Palme d’Or.
What is important regarding the date is that it is clear that Warner Bros will have Imax, moreover next January is crying for wide releases. But no, the reason for which the studio decided to use this date is to take advantage of the Lunar New Year in South Korea.
The title is a central element of Warner Bros.’s CinemaCon presentation this year.
At first, it was expected that Mickey 17 would come out on March 29, not long after Dune: Part Two this year, but the strikes postponed the release. We kept hearing it wasn’t ready. Even that did not stop people from sighing that the sci-fi picture was bound to Cannes. There were never any plans for the movie to go to Cannes.
Warner Bros has put up the trailer of the Malcolm D Lee-directed science fiction movie Micke 17. The protagonist in the storyline is initially portrayed as Mickey Barnes, the expendable one in the human settlement colony and administered by the handsome and dashing Robert Pattinson. The character of Mickey is assigned one impossible task and risks his life every time in the performance of the tasks and is brought back over and over again. The movie is expected at the end of the month, January 31, 2025.

He is an expendable worker because he is the one who engages in the risky and almost always, death defying operations for the crew.
Each time during such missions Mickey meets an untimely death, a clone is produced containing most of his conscious memories. That has happened six times already and Mickey already fully understood the extreme nature of his profession. He also understands why nobody bothered to grab the position of an expendable worker when he did.

Apart from Robert Pattinson, the movie has a few other actors as well. Well known for her part in Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, Naomi Ackie plays an important career. Steven Yeun of Nope, Toni Collette from Hereditary, and Poor Things’ Mark Ruffalo all appear in the movie. The other films are directed by Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Bong Joon-ho and Dooho Choi too.
Production, Release Date
